Astroart

I have exclusively used Astroart for both camera control (image acquisition) and image processing. It is a very flexible package at an excellent price, making it a true value in today's astro-market.

The support has also been excellent at MSB (maker's of Astroart), with fast response to direct email inquiries. There's also a news group that is dedicated to Astroart support. You'll need to join to participate.

I've generated a rather large power point presentation on some of the basics of imaging and processing, mainly targeting the MX7C. I put this together to present at our club's Astrofest 2002 Star Party held earlier this year. Approximately 75 people attended and hopefully took something away with them! There's also some basic info for anyone looking to get into ccd imaging and some background as to why I chose the MX7C.
