NGC672 and IC1727, the 2 prominent
galaxies in this image, are an interacting pair located in the constellation
of Triangulum. IC1727 displays significant disruptions from tidal forces.
The bright sliver of a galaxy towards the bottom is PGC180357. It is quite
red in color and is approximately 1.2 magnitudes brighter in the red compared
to blue (according to photo plates). This was taken at Chiefland during
the October new moon.
