NGC4244 is a nice edge-on spiral
located in Canes Venatici. It has a relatively high listed brightness
of 10.6, but that is spread over a large 16.6' x 1.9' region. Some interesting
mottling is present with a nice dark lane bisecting the core and there's
a very faint continued extension of the galaxy towards the upper left.
This shot was taken during the Chiefland Spring Star Party.
