NGC1973

NGC1973, also know as the Running Man, is a nebulous complex just below the Great Orion nebula. The complex is labelled in 3 part, NGC1977 is the bulk of the complex making up the bottom half of this image. NGC1973 is the bright knot towards the 'head' of the running man and NGC1975 is the small bright spot at the top edge of this image, slightly to the right of center.
