NGC1365

NGC1365 is a premier barred galaxy in the constellation of Fornax and is a larger member of the Fornax Cluster (see the shot taken with the Sky90). It's unfortunate that this beautiful galaxy is low on the horizon for northern viewers where the seeing isn't optimal. This shot was taken at the Chiefland Star Party, 2003.
