NGC1055 is a "Sombrero" like galaxy in the constellation of Cetus and makes an nice wide field pair with M77 (see the shot taken with the Sky90). The area is rich in faint smudges with about a half dozen other galaxies visible. This shot was taken at the Chiefland Star Party, 2003. |
