M77 is a bright Sb type spiral
in the constellation of Cetus. Although difficult to see (dimming the
lights will help), there is a much larger and fainter component to the
outer arms that stretches about 3x the diameter of the brighter central
portion. The H9C camera does a nice job of highlighting the bluer star
forming regions within the galaxy.
