M64

M64, is also called the Black Eye Galaxy for obvious reasons. It is located in the constellation of Coma Berenices. Unlike some of the other shots, not much arm detail is visible rendering the dark lanes as its most prominent feature. This shot was taken at the CFAS dark site.
