M42

This shot was taken from my light polluted backyard using standard 85-200mm Olympus camera zoom lens set at 135mm with the MX7C camera and the Tokai IDAS LPR filter. With the filter, the star field is quite sharp, since it does a nice job of minizing the UV and IR signal from bloating the stars. The 'Running Man' nebula is just becoming visible above M42.
