Here's yet another image of
the Horsehead nebula taken with an 80mm AT1010 Stellarvue refractor. Due
to the small focal length, the image portends a much wider field of view
as compared to the previous LX200 image! The refractor is normally f/6,
but the use of the Meade f/6.3 FR dropped this down to f/4.9. An IDAS
LPR filter was also used to sharpen the stars a bit and darken the background.
