NGC4725 |
|
Updated: 4.29.05 |
NGC4725 is another bright and large galaxy that should have made the "M" list! It is approximately mag 9.8 and a large 10.8'x7.6' size, which includes the wide sweeping but faint ccw arm. To the top right is NGC4712, a small mag 13.1 non-interacting galaxy. There is a surprising amount of detail in this small spiral. Many other faint galaxies dot the background of this 4725 image. This image was taken at Chiefland during the Spring Partyt with the 10" Newtonian. |
